Here’s a quick round-up of the blog posts I’ve published this week.
How to prepare for a job interview after a career break
Many of the women that I work with haven’t attended a job interview in years. Either because they have been on a career break or they are well-established in their careers with regular promotion and moves at their current employer.
If you haven’t attended a job interview for a long time, preparing for that interview can seem pretty daunting. Here are the top tips that I share with my clients. Read more here.
I am still so ashamed … #HiddenHalf
It’s World Mental Health Day. I wanted to mark it by sharing personal insights. Forgive me for writing something somewhat disjointed.
Yet the images that come back over and over again … I’m not ready to share. It was scary.
Instead I want to share a post I wrote over a year ago though I’m still not ready to tell you how I was self-harming. Maybe I will never be ready. Read more here.
How lawyers collaborate with technologists to get the innovative edge

What I learned about me, courage and Northern Soul
Last year I shared my lightbulb moment that authenticity is a core value for me. That lightbulb moment came from Sue Revell’s Find Your Flow Challenge (inspired by the work of Robert Dilts).
I loved that challenge. When Sue told me she was running it again (oh go on, I’ll admit I kept nagging her), I jumped in eager and curious to discover what new insights I would get. Today I wanted to share my insights so far and the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G thing that I have discovered is within my control. Read more here.
How to change career and find work you love
I talk to Ali Bickers about her dramatic career change that enabled her to find work she loved. Having gone through many difficulties in her past and despite being sceptical, Ali turned to counselling for help.
To her amazement, it made an incredible difference to all aspects of her life. This inspired her to train to be a counsellor to help others. Despite the challenges, Ali pushed on through with determination and now has work she loves. Read the show notes and listen to the #ConfidentConversations podcast here.
