The Confident Mother

Helping ambitious women in technology manage their career with confidence and purpose

16th December 2015

What I learned from my pre-launch

After I reviewed my 2015, I’d like to share what I learned from my pre-launch.

What I learned from my pre-launch

In November, I launched the beta of The Confident Mother Experience at 50% discount.  The more mums I talked to, I soon realised the irony of encouraging mums to have the confidence to sign up to a 9 month programme to support you to get clarity, make a decision, then create the action plan to make that decision come to life … when it’s that very lack of confidence and clarity that stops mums from asking for any help. If you are not sure what you want, you can’t possibly be clear on what or whose help you need.

The irony of course being that is exactly what I specialise in – helping mums to figure out which option is the right one for them, whether that’s:

  • Go back to work in your previous career – (full-time, part-time, job share or flexible working)
  • Start work as a freelancer
  • Change career
  • Start your own business
  • Be a stay at home mum

I know that in order to figure this out, you need to get really clear on YOU and what is special about you; your contribution to the world (or purpose or calling); what is most important to you (your core values). These steps need to be done first but often mums tend to dive straight into the work decisions (career change, freelance, start a business …), missing out those crucial first steps: knowing WHO you are and WHAT you are. It’s difficult to ask for help when you’re not sure what you want or need.

I love The Confident Mother Experience because it brings together the best elements of my VIP days, coaching and ongoing accountability and support. Yet mums were hesitating to sign up to the November pre-launch, despite it being half-price, because they weren’t sure what they wanted. They lacked clarity. When you don’t have certainty and clarity, you just don’t have the confidence to get help and support.

Like all successful entrepreneurs, I am learning from my experience and I’m going to launch an entry-level course to help mums get clear on what they want so that they have the confidence to make decisions.

Here’s how I’m going help you

Often we self-diagnose and you think it’s one area of your life e.g. work that needs attention.  But what’s really happening is you are worried about how this will affect your relationship with your children and your family. Or maybe you think you need help with decision-making but in fact you are not valuing yourself enough to take ‘me’ time (which would help you feel calmer and less overwhelmed, and therefore more able to make effective decisions).

There are two three ways that I’m going to help you.

First

Join me for The Confident Mother online conference and listen to a whole range of speakers who will share their secrets on how to be more productive, how to get started with a business, how to get more zest into your life, how to raise the self-esteem of your children, and so much more. Register here for the 20+ live interviews and receive a copy of the workbook.

Second

Right after the conference, I will be offering Clear Confidence, my 6 week course to help you get clear on what it is you are looking for so that you know what help or support to get. Each week we will explore one of the five elements: work, wellness, contribution, family and the feminine, with a final open Q&A. It will be around the £300 mark.

This might be the first time you have invested in you and your future for a very long time. Perhaps there’s been a time in the past when you’ve happily spent £2-300 on a spa day or a weekend away or maybe a handbag. But you’ve not done that for a while. You can’t buy this course yet but if you want to be on the priority waitlist, leave your details here.

Third

To be honest I only came up with this one as I was writing this post … I get really frustrated when I see women, mums especially, settling for less.

Don’t forget, get yourself on the priority waitlist, just click here. There’s no commitment and no obligation.

I hope that what I learned from my pre-launch is just the thing for you to have an amazing 2016.
