The Confident Mother

For ambitious women who want to confidently balance career and family

19th February 2016

Who gets your vote as a confident business mother?

Over at Birds on the Blog, I just finished compiling the first Top 75 UK Confident Business Mothers. I’d love to know your thoughts about who made the list and who didn’t.

Check out the list and leave me a comment there …

Now hold on … if you are thinking “I’ll never be that successful”, “I’m not that confident”, “I don’t know how she does it”, “Well it’s taken her years” … all mothers at times experience self-doubt and lack of confidence. We might not all say it out loud. We are certainly not going to project it as part of our public ‘image’ if we are running a top FTSE100 company or running our own business. After all, what clients or shareholders will respect, admire, or be attracted to a business woman who doesn’t appear confident?

The trick is to fake it until you make it. Smile on the outside even if you’re grimacing on the inside. Hold your head high. Watch your body language.

For more tips on confidence, check out my previous posts on the surprising things I learned about confidence in my online conference, tips to feel confident at work, boost your energy and 7 practical ways to boost your self-confidence.

When you’ve done that, check out my Events page to discover which of my regular online classes will help your confidence.

p.s.

If you know that you want that feeling of confidence and clarity that the Top 75 Confident Business Mothers have, but you also know that you need help, let’s talk to find out which option is the best fit for you. Click here to find a date and time that works for you.

There’s absolutely no commitment but as an action-taker myself, I will encourage you to take action, whether that’s to work with me or to take a different first step.
