52 Week Photography Project – Week 2 – “Cold”

I have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of Mummy B 52 Week Photography Challenge.  During this 52 week challenge, my Sunday blog will be a photograph. This week COLD is the theme. I’ve been a bit arty … not much frost here this morning, so I grabbed some ice cubes out of the freezer, put them on a glass plate that my sister made for me.I’d love your thoughts.

Redcurrants and pieces of lime – from the “cocktails” I made for my daughters at the weekend. Pretty icecubes turn any drink into a cocktail in their eyes!

I know what you mean. I was hoping for a frostier weekend to capture some breath, if my camera would be upto the job. I love the idea of sitting them on a glass plate, so that the colours underneath show through. I like that I am also guessing what is inside the ice. Very creative.

I love my glass plate – did you guess correctly? Redcurrants and pieces of lime.

A lovely arty photo. I like that the ice has fruit in it as it makes it more intriguing. #MummyBPhotographyChallenge

I love your take on this challenge! They are definitely cold thats for sure. Excellent shot of them and I can just make out the piece of lime but I guessed at a cherry, didn’t think of red currants.
