I’ve been busy rushing around all day doing various home visits and only just had time to check the theme for Mummy B’s 52 week photography challenge.
This week the theme is “Simplicity”. Considering where I’ve been today (home visits with my NCT breastfeeding counsellor hat on), the first thought that popped into my head is the simplicity of the needs of a young baby: warmth, milk, Mummy. And that’s it. If everything is going well, a newborn’s needs are very simple indeed.
So here’s an old photo … I may come back to this theme later in the week.
Check out the other bloggers participating in the challenge here.
I am always in awe when I see pictures like this! I had my own troubles breastfeeding and hope that next time I will have a longer breastfeeding journey than I did with Darcie. Thank you so much for sharing and linking up.

Thank you. I’m loving your photography challenge. And I love that you have given us next week’s theme ahead of time too!
Beautiful. There are no other words that can be used to describe this!
Thank you Helen.
Such a gorgeous image for the subject #MummyBPhotographyChallenge
The beauty of a breastfeeding baby … so so so beautiful … such beauty … not quite comprehensible. What a privilege for the mummy and a treat for the baby! You’re right, a baby doesn’t need much; their needs are very simple in many ways.
I find it intriguing that breastfeeding baby upon baby, it tends to be the same shape of mouth around the nipple and their cute little hands finds their way to the breast a lot too, don’t they! Thanks for sharing 🙂 #MummyBPhotographyChallenge
Thank you.
