When you run your own business, it’s easy to feel isolated. Particularly if you run that business from home and even if talk to clients on the phone or face-to-face or you run workshops, effectively you are ON YOUR OWN.
Which means that there’s no-one there to second guess your decisions, your plans, your ideas … often you start to doubt yourself. Interestingly today I talked about the power and confidence that you get when you belong to a group of women. It seems to be a theme for me today as I’m contemplating my next business mastermind.
As I’m on my own, and a client cancelled at the last minute, I thought I’d take 5 minutes (which of course turned into 55 minutes) to experiment with video. I’d love to know your thoughts.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Watching myself on video is a bit odd. The lighting’s not great, and I couldn’t find my microphone so I used my headset microphone instead (but I guess that’s how I spend most of my day on Skype conversations, so this really is the real me).
