Here in the UK it’s Mother’s Day. To all mothers everywhere, I send you very warm and loving wishes for Mother’s Day.
On Friday, I ran a LinkedIn workshop for a group of 8 women. At one point I hesitated because I wanted to say “I’m sharing my best LinkedIn tips and tricks with love”. I paused and laughed … this was at the end of the workshop, and I admitted “I nearly said ‘with love’ but perhaps that’s a bit hippy dippy”.
One of the other women laughed too … “From you Sherry, with your passion and enthusiasm, your ‘with love‘ is not hippy dippy”.
My point is that to have the best Mother’s Day Ever you need to be you.
Not the best version of you.
Not the most confident version of you.
Not the prettiest version of you.
Just you. However you are feeling today.
Just you – uniquely and authentically you.
Happy Mother’s Day.
With love.
p.s. if you’re wondering why the blog cover has a picture of a she-wolf on Mother’s Day … if you ask my girls, they’ll tell you that I’m “a bit weird“. I don’t mind.
Listen to this recording here to find out why the she-wolf is such an inspiration to me as a mother.
