Helping ambitious women in technology manage their career with confidence and purpose

13th August 2016

London 2012 Olympic memories

I had an amazing 2012 – my first year in business. Gamesmaker at London 2012. There at the finish line when Wiggo took gold. There at the finish line for the Paralympic Marathon. At the opening ceremony dress rehearsal. Marathon route ran past my former employer’s window. Watched the Brownlees in the trialthlon and tickets to the Paralympics athletics at the amazing stadium. What a summer. A few of my photographic memories for you to enjoy.

I enjoyed looking at your pictures. I recently published a post titled, “It’s Only Been 5 Days,” where I reflected on the things that have impressed me the most in the first 5 days of Rio2016. At this point, I don’t think I can pinpoint one specific event…there have just been too many. However, one that I will not likely ever forget is when the Olympic Refuge Team was announced and entered the stadium in the opening ceremony. Looking at their faces, listening to the cheers of the fans…that was truly amazing!

    Fabulous photos!
Jason Kenny and Bradley Wiggins are my heroes so far.
