Helping ambitious women in technology manage their career with confidence and purpose

Sunrise challenge in the New Forest

I was intrigued at the prospect of a sunrise photo & health challenge … I love photography, I love to look after my health, what’s not to love. Those are the positives … but it does mean getting up super early. I checked – in fact it’s a 5am start.

I made no promises … and in fact I did wake up at 5am this morning. But my bed was warm, comfortable … I lay there for a few minutes longer, and the next thing I knew, the alarm was going off. I’ll do it tomorrow, promise.

In the meantime, to show good intentions, here’s a sunrise photo from a couple of years ago in the New Forest, in fact it’s a little after sunrise in this photo…  I love this picture. It was a beautiful bright morning, the place was deserted, no other traffic on the road (I’d just driven down from London leaving a little before sunrise), the sparkle of the sun on the dew laden heather. It promised to be a beautiful day, especially as I was about to meet up with 5 other fabulous business women for our mastermind retreat.
